Activities on the Ranch

Horseback Riding & Hayrides
Horseback Rides: Get ready to saddle up! We'll take you on a guided one hour tour of our property for $35 per person. Only for those 18 years and older. Hay Rides: See this property in style! For only $40 per wagon load (6 person limit), you'll wind around this scenic place for one hour. Perfect for a romantic couple or for the whole family. Bring your own horse: we offer a pen or pasture for your horse. You can take your horse anywhere on our 155 acres. There are many beautiful spots on our property that you and your horse will enjoy! $15 per horse per day for a pen or pasture on the property. $25 per horse per day for a special portable pen near your cabin. Please bring your own feed.	Wagon rides are a favorite pastime for our guests! It's a great way to see the animals up close, too. Christina and Matt Gibson bring their horses, Jackson and Cookie, for a ride on our 155 acres.

Cowboy Dinners
Menu includes: all you can eat ribs, chicken, cowboy beans, potatoes, corn, dessert, tea/lemonade and of course, cowboy coffee. Cost is $25 per adult and $12.50 for kiddos.	Enjoy some Cowboy Cookin' in the country air!

Swimmin' Hole
Need a break from the Texas heat? Take a dip in the pool!	You'll love splishing and splashing in our 20,000 gallon stock tank. There's a grill and pool furniture for guest use, too. Make a day of it, relaxing at the pool!

Fishing

We have several stocked ponds that host such species as Black Bass, Catfish and Perch. We have a catch and release program here. Please bring your own fishing tackle. We'll give you a map of the property with pond locations when you arrive!

Hiking and Animal Watching
We've created several new hiking trails recently that offer scenic views of the property. There are some that are for beginners or families and other trails that are for the more advanced hiker. Regardless of the trail, you'll enjoy being so close to nature while you exercise.

Picnicking

Designated picnic areas are scattered throughout the property. We have located them under nice shady oak trees and near ponds. After hiking our trails, a nice picnic with your special someone will top off the afternoon.

2008 Summer Horse Camp for Kids

We are so excited about this fun-filled 3 night/4 day camp. Campers arrive on Monday morning and leave Thursday evening (kicking and screaming for more). Each camper will have riding lessons twice daily. Our horse trainer, Lauren Stone, has excellent credentials including training with the Olympic Equestrian Team. So... this is a great opportunity for all levels of riders to get in the saddle!

When our campers are not riding horses, they'll have time for fishing, hiking, swimming, crafts, games, and cowboy lessons. And let's not forget our favorite, campfire songs before bedtime. Healthy & delicious meals are provided at our chuckwagon area, so our campers get the true "old west experience". There will be one excursion to Fossil Rim or DinoWorld, price included. Campers will stay in our comfortable cabins on the property with a chaperone. Cost is $850 per camper.
